Frequently Asked QuestionsQ: I'm confused, why can't I find the shirt I want on your site? A: We sell embroidered clothing for nearly every regiment and corps in the British Army. That's a lot. In order to simplify the broswsing process, units are categorized by their administrative units. If you are struggling to find what you want we recommend using the 'Site Map' or 'Search' buttons found on each page. Q: Do you have a real shop? A: Not at this time. We try and keep costs down by using the "just in time" ordering system. In effect, all items are made to order and despatched within about 7 days. Our plans for global domination don't include a bricks and mortar shop but we hope to have a presence at shows and fairs in the future. Q: How much do you charge for postage? A: We charge postage according to weight bands based upon the Royal Mail's tariffs. We ship by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery for UK post and Airsure (where possible) for non-UK orders. While these bands do not necessarily reflect the cost of every item sent, they do average out and it is not our intention to make any profit from shipping charges. At this time, we charge £2.50 for sending one or two t-shirts to a UK or BFPO destination, £7.56 for non-UK. Q: Can my order be sent to an address other than my billing address. A: Yes, as long as the order passes all anti-fraud measures. Q: Where's my stuff? A: We do advertise a delivery time of 7-10 days but please allow up to 28 days. In the excitement of ordering our terrific products, this seems to get overlooked. All shirts are custom made to order hence the lead-in time. Q: What printing method do you use? A: We print using an industrial heat-pressed "flex" system. This is a relatively expensive process in comparison to screen-printing and much better quality. However, it is ideal for short-runs and personalised printing. The print will never fade, run, crack or peel: In truth, it will outlast your garment. Q: Can you custom print names and stuff on the back of shirts? A: We do currently offer back-printing for some units and intend to roll this out to all units. Please feel free to ask if you would like to us to print a nick name or similar on the back of a shirt. We charge a flat rate of £3.00 for printing. Q: Can you provide me with items for a specific regiment or unit which are not on your website? A: Possibly. Please let us know what you want and we will see what we can do. We hold a licence for ALL Royal Navy, Royal Marines and RAF units and most Army units. If the badge you want is not covered by our existing licence it may be necessary for you to provide evidence that you have permission to use it. Q: Can you supply SAS, SBS, Sea Cadets or Tri-Service branded clothing? A: No. The Ministry of Defence will not licence the use of these badges. Q: Do you sell original militaria or surplus clothing? A: Possibly, please ask and we will see what we can do for you. |
